November 4 & 13: Situational Awareness Seminar, 7:00p-8:30p

Zion is blessed to have several experienced law enforcement officers in our congregation.  Brad Curry and Brian McClellan will be giving practical advice on how to keep yourself safe and avoid dangerous situations. Please RSVP at church or call the church office.  Both seminars are the same.  Invite your friends and neighbors.

December 13: Third Annual Christmas Cookie Walk and Kids Fun Fair from 9AM – Noon

Zion’s Third Annual Christmas Cookie Walk will be the best one yet! As usual, there will be many varieties of home-baked Christmas Cookies that you can buy in any quantity. Perfect for a Christmas party, office/neighbor gifts, or just to be enjoyed at home. Price will be $10 per pound. Net proceeds will go towards our Helping Hands fund which helps local families in need to pay for emergency expenses.

This year again we will be having our Kids’ Fun Fair at the same time. There will be lots of different crafts to try, games to play, singalongs, a face painter and several photo boards in which you can photograph your child in any of various Christmas scenes. Best of all, it’s all free!

New this year, we will be introducing Zion Music Conservatory to the community. Our brand new music school will be giving kids (and grownups!) the opportunity to explore some different musical instruments and how they work. Faculty will be on hand to even give free mini-lessons. So why not see if your child might enjoy tinkering on a piano, strumming a guitar or blowing a trumpet in a fun and casual way while you’re here. It’s a great way to discover a child’s interest in music.

The Christmas Cookie Walk and Kids’ Fun Fair will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 9AM until Noon at Zion Lutheran Church’s Activity Center, 11007 Book Road, Naperville, IL 60564.
